About benaros

The benaros trade and vision has been ongoing for 30+ years and continues to grow and develop itself offering customers a variety of beautiful locally made products. We are ever passionate about local trade and development and know that South Africa has a lot to offer with bare talent and crafts.

Started off by a young married couple, Ben and Rani, who worked in the shoe factory saw this business as a side hustle. Leather Sandals were handcut and assembled without machinery. The products were then sold on the street side and then onto the flea markets for many years until a shop was acquired in durban central.

The shop has allowed  many relationships with local talents and allowed the business to sell a variety of local crafty and traditional items keeping it proudly South African.

The company now has a variety of sandals and shoes incorporating faux leather and genuine leather products

Our goals and vision are to obtain a variety of porducts that keep up to fashion trends ensuring our customer base receives the best products at competitive rates.
